Youth Cycling
Pedal Power offers coached cycling skills sessions aimed at 6 to 16 year olds.
Sessions are tailored to the age and ability of riders with the aim of improving cycling skills and confidence in all forms of bike riding, from the mountain bike to road bike. Our British cycling coaches will help bring out the best in the young riders and Pedal power can act as a stepping stone into competitive cycle racing.
Pedal Power is British Cycling approved and part of the go-ride initiative. All coaches are qualified and approved by British Cycling.

| Dated: 29/07/2010 There are Go Ride fun races for children at Filching Manor on the Thursday evenings through August. Bring a bike, a helmet is required, £4 entry fee & a drink for hydration. Contact: Tim Sales | Email: timsales@britishcycling.org.uk Tel: 07984 390281 The series will include 3 races at each event for two age categories, under 12 and under 16. The evening will feature a bunch race and an individual Time Trial where riders will ride on their own to try and record the fastest time over a set distance. Don't worry if you are not the fastest, you can aim to beat your own personal best time during the series and win the handicap series (for the greatest improvement in time). This is a fun event aimed primarily at children new to racing. You will not require a racing licence or previous racing experience and any roadworthy bike will be suitable, just remember to bring a helmet, a drink and have fun! Best wishes Shaun |
