Go Ride

Welcome to Pedal Power Eastbourne - Youth Cycling

Great news – Eastbourne Pedal Power is back!

Now the sun is out and the evenings are longer, it’s time for the new Pedal Power season to begin.

Starting this Friday 5th April we will be meeting at 6:15pm at the Eastbourne Sports Park, Sussex Downs College, Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne BN21 2UF.

Helmets are required, and although the forecast is dry and bright, at 5°C it might be a bit cold, so please wrap up warm with lots of layers.

The Sessions are open to both members and non-members with a charge of £3.50 per child and finish at 7:45pm.

Eastbourne Pedal Power is British Cycling approved and part of the Go-Ride initiative offering coached cycling skills sessions for 6 to 16 year olds. Sessions are tailored to the age and ability of riders with the aim of improving cycling skills and confidence in all forms of bike riding, from the mountain bike to road bike. Our British Cycling qualified coaches will help bring out the best in the young riders and act as a stepping stone into competitive cycle racing.

If you have any specific queries about the sessions please don’t hesitate in contacting Shaun Reed direct at shaun.reed@tesco.net

More information about Go-Ride can be found on the British Cycling website http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/go-ride/article/goridest-What-is-Go-Ride
